my little valentine

I've needed some decompression time since the patterns went to the printer, so I grabbed the nearest fabric without any definite plans, just a distinct need to make something with lots of hand stitching. This is what came of it: one more doll quilt for the wall, very haphazard but a huge relief to make.

It will be going to it's intended recipient on Thursday.

i love it - so sweet for your little one! it really speaks of new york to me: the lines, the pathways, the organized busyness, and the hidden treasures around every corner.

This is really adorable. I hope you read old comments because I am loving the red and ivory print fabric on the bottom row (the print fabric second from the left) and I was wondering where it could be purchased. Thanks. :)

  21. Hi Linda, Are you kidding? I read ALL comments and LOVE them, so thanks for writing! That print is probably a year or so old. I got it at Purl (www.purlsoho.com) and don't recall the manufacturer. If I can locate it I'll try to find the selvage and let you know who made it. Cheers!

Wow, I'm totally impressed. Not only that you responded so quickly but that you remembered where you purchased this fabric over a year ago. :) Thanks so much for letting me know.
