little wedding in the big (windy) city

My goodness, all five of the Bockheim girls are now married!

The year we celebrated two weddings within just a few months. I'm impressed at how each wedding expressed the unique personality of the couple.

Christy and Kurt asked me to do their wedding invitations, which was easy because they already had a bicycle theme in mind. After a quick tutorial from Heather on illustrating in Photoshop, I was on my way.

Oh yes, we'll be there!

And the post-wedding getaway? On a tandem bicycle, of course!

  2. How wonderful! Congrats to both of your sisters on their weddings. We too had sibling weddings within months of each other this year. Hope everyone is able to take a nice big sigh of relief and relax!

Love the tandem. We had one letter pressed by my sister in law on our wedding invites too.

  3. I love it! What a darling theme! Is that their vintage tandem bicycle? I hope they get to keep it forever - and ride on it together when they celebrate their 50th! ;)

    P.S. Your invitations are perfect!

  5. Very impressive work! Your sister looks beautiful on the bike.

Is there a tutorial from heather, or did she just offer some tips? I'm still a newbie when it comes to Photoshop, always looking for some tips.
