Only Martha

could inspire me to go home and actually make a spicy pumpkin bundt cake. That fabulous bundt pan we were given didn't hurt, either. What a lot of fun it was to visit her show! I've never been in a studio audience before.

The studio itself was breathtaking: enormous and beautifully decorated, and it was genuinely fascinating to see how the show comes together. Julianne Moore is gorgeous in real life. And didn't Anna Maria do a great job? I loved how she decorated the craft area in advance of her project. So much fun! I'd go again in a heartbeat.

  2. I can't believe you live in NYC and you'd never been to Martha! You're so lucky you got a GREAT show -- we went in October and our shows paled by comparison! Did you specifically request the day that Anna Maria would be there? Or as a NYC resident do you just get extra tickets?

Will you be bringing that gorgeous bundt cake over to my house in Staten Island? I've got the coolest coffee/espresso machine, really...LOL!

Loved the show...Anna Maria is ADORABLE and so personable you can't help but love her.

I, too, am curious how it works with the Martha show tickets...duh, I haven't been to any live audience shows in several years, but really should take advantage of it living here in NYC...KWIM?

I'm just so jealous you got AMH fabric and I didn't.

  6. You got to go to such a fun show! I'm so jealous of your bundt pan AND fabric! I was at last weeks taping of the kids show, which was also very exciting.

For everyone wondering about Martha tickets, If you show up to the studio about 2 1/2 hours before the show tapes, it's quite easy to get standby tickets (according to Justin, my new Martha intern friend!) My friends and I did it, got in just fine, and sat in the seats on the floor!

I just finished my totebag/backpack from your pattern, your directions were amazing!

  15. Hey, everyone. I actually requested my tickets several months ago, long before I discovered Anna Maria would be a guest. You can make your request on Martha's website, and I think tickets are still available for a few dates in January. Cheers!
